Distributed under GPL and written entirely in PHP, it is highly customizable and fully open to modifications. Now works properly also with non-western languages. It requires MySQL as a backend RDBMS.

The chat window doesn't get hogged up and a history log is kept which you can manually delete if you so desire. It also has some other bbcode that you might find your self.
